Caldorion puts pattern-of-life ISR on proven unmanned ground vehicles. Our patent-pending detection software learns the normal electromagnetic and behavioral signature of a perimeter, then hunts the signal that doesn't belong.
The problem
Perimeter security for military installations, critical infrastructure, and industrial sites still relies on fixed sensors that only detect events at the moment they happen.
They have no memory of a site's normal state, so they miss the deviations that signal real threats: a reconnaissance phone, a planted transmitter, a concealed person, a spoofed network, a jammed link.
Meanwhile ground autonomy — where these threats actually operate — has been the overlooked leg of the autonomy triad while air and sea absorbed a decade of attention.
Technology
Our autonomy and sensing payload rides on any ROS 2 unmanned ground vehicle, patrolling a defined territory and running a full multi-modal sweep at every waypoint.
All processing runs on-board at the edge, so detection continues in comms-denied or jammed environments. Caldorion implements the intelligence; the vehicle is whichever proven, NDAA-compliant platform the mission calls for. Supported platforms include Husarion's Panther.
SIGMA
Caldorion's machine learning engine. It learns what normal looks like at a site and flags what doesn't belong.
SIGMA builds each site's own baseline from patrol data and grows more sensitive the better it knows a location.
Detection is behavioral: the change in a site's electromagnetic and thermal pattern, not just a discrete tripwire.
Agreement across independent sensors produces the engine's highest-confidence alerts — the hardest kind of threat to fake.

Caldorion, Inc. officially incorporates on September 1, 2026, as an independent, dual-use company focused on pattern-of-life ISR for perimeter security. It starts with six months of R&D and the provisional patent on the SIGMA core, both carried over from Fidelis Machines.
A provisional application covering the core detection methods behind SIGMA — the engine that learns a site's normal signature and flags what deviates from it. Filed by Fidelis Machines ahead of the spin-out and assigned to Caldorion, Inc.; a non-provisional filing will follow.
